UNABRDG is a journey to wholeness!

But what exactly is wholeness? It's being fully YOU—living a life that feels complete in every way, shape, and form.

Now, before you get ahead of yourself, no, there’s no finish line on this journey—just continuous progress. And that’s what UNABRDG means to me: a constant striving toward wholeness.

A woman with long, curly hair stands on a stone pathway surrounded by greenery. She is wearing a fitted black top and blue jeans, looking confidently at the camera with a soft expression.

Becoming UNABRDG will be a journal, documenting my path toward that wholeness.

It’ll be unfiltered (well, sorta), but always honest. This journey wasn’t meant to be solo, though trust me, I tried! It wasn’t until I expanded my support system and shared my intentions with others that I began to see real change.

And I want YOU to come along for the ride—to laugh, cry, love, and, of course, have those “What the eff?” moments. We’re all going through similar transitions, whether we realize it or not. I’ve never met anyone completely satisfied with how things are (except maybe Ron Swanson). I want to celebrate this journey! Sure, I’ll touch on some of the same topics as other self-help girlies—like managing your budget as an Uber loyalist, getting more organized, and, of course, skincare—but we’ll also dive into deeper stuff: finding your focus, loving yourself through hard times, and how a Black woman navigates it all.

So, what’s the plan? Let’s break it down (because yes, I’m an organization girlie). Every month, I’ll post in five categories, each one representing an important part of my life—and probably yours too—on the path to wholeness:

  1. Work

  2. Relationships

  3. Health & Wellness

  4. Passions

  5. Finances

One last disclaimer before we take off on this journey: I’m not claiming to be a “writer girlie.” Sure, I’ve been journaling since the days of “Dear Diary,” but I don’t see myself as a writer. I just hope you hear this in my voice, like a real conversation between us :). And yes, the comments are open, and I do respond! So, let’s sit back, relax, and begin this journey to becoming whole—together.
